Family Motel

The Motel provides emergency housing to homeless families and individuals, and needs Volunteer Guest Services Coordinators to help at the front desk Monday through Saturday during the hours of 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Duties include monitoring activities of motel during shift worked, ensuring safety and well-being of guests, performing intake duty as required, recording motel activities, logging in written and computer data reports, HMIS and other documentation. Other duties might include sorting hygiene items, doing pre-occupancy room checks for cleanness, updating the Motel resource board, organizing the food pantry, shredding and/or scanning documents, or hosting a movie night for the guests! Volunteer help is most needed between 2 and 7 p.m..
